Andhra Pradesh, like every other state, has it’s own High Court, wherein conflicts within people are resolved. The Andhra Pradesh High Court resides in Amravathi, which is a city in Andhra Pradesh state.
Why Should States Have High Courts?
High Courts are judicial bodies that hear conflicts arising within people. In some places, High Court is the highest form if Authority that hears cases from across the country, in other places, such as India, High Court is a lower hierarchy of the judicial system, just below the Apex Court. There are at present 24 High Courts in India, and they all have a similar jurisdiction under section 277 of the Constitution. If anyone wants to file a case, they need to appear before the Court, under this jurisdiction. AP High Court also comes under the same jurisdiction. The building that is used for the High Court is called the judicial complex and will be used as the city civil Court, once the permanent building I built.
High Courts in India have a lower state to the Supreme Court. A case that has been filed first goes to the most inferior Court in the country, and then the High Court, of the parties to the case, are not satisfied with the judgment, they can always appeal before the Supreme Court.
Functions Of High Courts:
Under the Constitution of India, the High Court is vested with the power to hear cases. It is created to be one judicial system, but the provisions are made different for different states’ High Courts. The Constitution of India also provides that there shall be a High Court for each state.
When there was a separation of Andhra Pradesh from Telangana, 2 High Courts were formed, one in Andhra Pradesh and one in Telangana. However, the parliament also has the power by law to, to make a common High Court for two to more states, such as the High Court that is common for Mizoram, Assam, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh, the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and including the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
High Court Of Andhra Pradesh And Telangana:
After the division of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it was made that both the states will have a separate judiciary that is separate High Courts. The AP High Court will reside in Amravathi, and the Telangana High Court will live in Hyderabad. Before this, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had a common High Court in Hyderabad. President Ram Nath Kovind, issued an order for Andhra Pradesh to have a separate High Court, making 25 High Courts in the whole of India.
Following this order, the Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court was supposed to head the new Court In Andhra Pradesh. The New High Court has 15 judges and one Chief Justice. The 10 judges that were working in the ordinary Court of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will shift to the new state.

Conclusion:
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh is relatively new compared to that of Telangana. This High Court works similarly to that of the Telangana. There is a modern building firmed for Andhra Pradesh High Courts. It was said that Amravathi is going to be the capital of the state, with the new High Court being located there.
